Hi im chona, 31 years old. I have just read my findings in my chest xray which states that heart is within limits. Its configuration is unremarkable. Pulmonary vascularity is normal. Infiltrates are noted in both upper lobes. Rest of the lungs are clear. The lateral costophronic sinuses are sharp. Hili are not enlarged. Visualized osseous structures are normal. Impression: chronic inflammatory ling diseasecompatible with PTB. What thas it mean? Please help.thanks
Hello Chona, Welcome to healthcaremagic.com and thanks for sharing your concern with us . In your Chest X ray , some infiltrates are visible in upper lobes which are indicative of Pulmonary Tuberculosis , chronic inflammation OR scar . If it's because of TB also then there is no need to worry as proper treatment will cure it . I would highly recommend you to consult with pulmonologist about it and take proper treatment as needed . I wish you good health. Best Regards , DR.S.TOMAR
